This brand new crossover SUV is meant to replace the two aforementioned models and slot between the Renegade and Cherokee models. According to the latest spy images, the model is still in the early stages of development. So, we expect the 2017 Compass to go on sale not before late 2016.

Hennessey Performance, the American tuning house, has presented its latest model. It is the 2016 Ford Hennessey VelociRaptor SUV which is based on the Ford F-250 pickup truck. The Hennessey VelociRaptor 600, a model based on the 2015 Ford F-150, was revealed in late 2014. It came as an enhanced pickup with stunning 600 horsepower. The time has come for Hennessey Performance to surprise us with a new outstanding vehicle. Although the 2016 Ford Hennessey VelociRaptor SUV is based on the F-250, it actually resembles the previous-generation model made by the company. Namely, the model that combined a number of features seen on the Ford F-150 Raptor and Ford Excursion models.

Nissan first revealed the brand new crossover SUV at the 2014 Sao Paolo Motor Show. Namely, the concept version of the Nissan Kicks crossover made its first public appearance at the Brazilian automotive event. In early 2015, another variant of this model was unveiled as the Nissan Kicks Samba. According to official announcements, the model is due to go on sale some time in 2016. Interestingly, the production-ready version of the 2016 Nissan Kicks is expected to inherit most of its features from the aforementioned concept vehicle. The model is set to hit the Brazilian showrooms first, while the rest of the world should expect its sales to start at a later date.

One of them is the 2017 Skoda Snowman Coupe, which is expected to go on sale by 2017.

Contrary to many announcements of a an updated version of the Nissan Xterra, the truth is that the Japanese company intends to discontinue this crossover SUV. Not only that, there won’t even be a successor to the well-known Xterra SUV. So, the 2016 Nissan Xterra should actually be available only as the 2015 model, at least while there are units available from stock. According to Nissan, further investments in the development of the Xterra are no longer profitable. The decision to end its production ensued after the sales declined dramatically in 2014. So, expect no updates or a direct successor to the current Xterra, while the 2016 Nissan Xterra will be sold as the 2015 model.

The model received a minor facelift for the 2013 model year, while a completely redesigned Prado is expected to arrive for the 2017 MY. That said, the 2017 Toyota Prado is due to mark the fifth generation of this long-lived model. As far as the Toyota’s SUV range is concerned, the Prado belongs to the mid-size SUV category. During its long history and four generations, it has been offered in numerous styles and versions.

The brand new generation of the XC90 was first revealed in 2014, and we expect the smaller XC60 to follow in its footsteps in the very near future. As part of the company’s ambitious plan, expect to see nine all-new Volvo’s models to arrive by 2020. The upcoming models are due to receive substantial improvements and the latest technological updates. So, the new XC60 SUV will slot right beneath the XC90 model within the Volvo’s SUV lineup. Although the model has been announced to make its debut in 2016, it’s still not clear whether it will go on sale as the 2016 Volvo XC60 or 2017 Volvo XC60.
