Despite the latest trend of introducing hybrid-powered versions of the popular models, some hybrids are due to be discontinued in the US. One of them is the 2016 Nissan Pathfinder Hybrid, which is going to be the last of its kind due to poor sales. Not only will the model be discontinued in the US but on the Canadian market as well. Another SUV to follow in its footsteps will be the 2016 Infiniti QX60 Hybrid SUV.

Subaru Exiga Crossover 7 Release Date

Subaru has revealed an all-new crossover based on the Exiga wagon. It is the largest crossover vehicle offered by the Japanese company, featuring three rows of seats with carrying capacity of seven passengers. The Subaru Exiga Crossover 7 will be sold exclusively on the Japanese market. The company still hasn’t announced its possible spreading to other world markets.

2017 BMW X1 Hybrid Release Date

BMW has already announced that the new X1 crossover will be offered in the form of a hybrid model. The 2017 BMW X1 plug-in hybrid will be powered by a conventional four-cylinder unit combined with an electric motor. Rumor has it that the upcoming model is most likely to be sold as the 2017 BMW X1 xDrive30e, with sales starting some time in 2016.

Audi’s TT Offroad concept was revealed at the 2014 Beijing motor show. It came as part of company’s efforts to expand the TT family in the near future. Alongside the aforementioned TT Offroad, there were two other concept versions of the TT model, namely the Shooting Brake and TT Sportback concepts. However, the TT Offroad was deemed the best of those three versions and the company decided to go with it and announce it as the new crossover SUV. Once it enters production, it will be known as the 2017 Audi TTQ. The first models to leave Audi’s production facility are expected in late 2016 or early 2017.

2017 Subaru Forester Redesign

The Subaru Forester is currently in its third iteration and the company intends to give this model a mid-cycle update for the 2017 model year. More precisely, the 2017 Subaru Forester is scheduled to make its debut on October 6th, 2015 in Japan. Actually, the revised Forester aimed at the Japanese market will be sold as the 2016 model. The rest of the world markets will have to wait a bit longer until the 2017 Forester hits the showrooms.

Following its North American premiere, the 2017 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid made its European debut at the 2015 Frankfurt Auto Show. Toyota first unveiled this model in early 2015 at the New York International Auto Show. Also, the restyled RAV4 for the 2016 model year made its first public appearance at the same event. In addition to the RAV4, Toyota revealed the new Prius as well as the C-HR SUV concept in Frankfurt. As for the RAV4 Hybrid, the European sales are set to start in early 2016.

The first teaser images of the Mazda Koeru concept model appeared during the summer of 2015. Apart from a few photos, there were virtually no other information on this project. Finally, at the recent 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, Mazda made an official presentation of the concept. The 2017 Mazda Koeru is expected to hit the market as the production-ready version sometime in 2017.
