2016 BMW X1 M Release Date
The new-generation BMW X1 crossover will make its debut in October 2015. For all those seeking for more power, better performance and a more aggressive exterior styling, the Bavarian carmaker will offer the 2016 BMW X1 M version. So, the X1 with an M Sport trim level will go on sale in November 2015.
Both the regular 2016 BMW X1 as well as the performance-oriented 2016 BMW X1 M will be based on the new BMW UKL platform. Thanx to slightly altered dimensions, the new generations will provide more interior space. In addition to the more comfortable ride, the new model will actually be lighter than its predecessor. When compared to the regular version, the 2016 BMW X1 M is 10 mm lower due to its sport suspension.

Other differences between the two versions are noticeable in most of the segments. There is quite a number of upgrades and enhancements offered with the M Sport package. The model will be offered in its distinctive Estoril Blue metallic body color. The 2016 BMW X1 M Sport package includes a revised „kidney“ grille, high-gloss windshield frames, aero body kit as well as the M Sport suspension. The Aero body kit actually comprises a special design of the front bumper with large air intakes, redesigned rear bumper and wheel arches. All of these elements come in body paint.
The 2016 BMW X1 M will be available with an aluminum set of wheels. The buyers will be able to choose from 18- and 19-inch wheels. In addition to that, the M Sport package includes several interior design details that set it apart from a standard model. Those include an M steering wheel wrapped in leather, sport seats as well as M pedals and gear lever.
2016 BMW X1 M Price
The German company still hasn’t made clear which of the models will be offered with the M Sport package. However, the 2016 BMW X1 M is definitely going to be more expensive than the regular 2016 BMW X1 model, between €4,100 and €5,200. The difference between two prices will depend on the trim level and the type of engine.
