2016 BMW X4 M40i Release Date

The famous German automaker has announced the debut of the 2016 BMW X4 M40i model at the 2016 NAIAS in Detroit. That basically means that the X4 SAC (Sport Activity Coupe) is about to receive its own M performance version. The release date hasn’t been confirmed yet but we expect the first vehicles to be delivered by the spring of 2016. Anyway, the latest addition to the X4 family will come as great news for all those who seek the best performance and sporty driving experience.

The arrival of the BMW X4 M version has been speculated for quite some time. However, one of the few reliable facts concerning the upcoming M model was its output that was supposed to range between 350 and 370 horsepower. In the meantime, a test prototype of the 2016 BMW X4 M40i has been spotted at the Nirburgring in Germany. That news served as the much-awaited confirmation that the X4 M is being prepared to join the lineup.

The athletic design of the 2016 BMW X4 M is the most prominent feature that set it apart from the regular X4 model. Its front fascia boasts a more aggressive appearance which is mostly due to the new grille and redesigned bumper. Needless to say, the M model will be offered with the aero body kit, sport suspension as well as the double exhaust pipe. Also, we expect it to be fitted with enhanced brakes and new sport springs. The 2016 BMW X4 M40i will feature a sporty interior design as well. According to the company’s officials, the 2016 BMW X4 M40i will boast an impressive acceleration. It is supposed to take around 5 seconds for the vehicle to go from 0 to 100 km/h. The top speed will be electronically limited to 250 km/h.
