2017 Kia Telluride Premium Three-Row SUV
Kia Company presented the audience Kia Telluride Concept at NAIAS 2016 in Detroit. More on that occasion stated that this model, as such, will not go into production. For the reason that the company wants to its future premium three-row SUV that looks something like this concept, we talk about the 2017 Kia Telluride. According to many, Telluride SUV would create a very attractive premium SUV to Kia Company does not have in its offer. The most they can offer is the Sorento, on which this concept model is based on.
2017 Kia Telluride would be seven seat hauler that would meet all the expectations of those in need. For this reason, the company surprised determination to retain the concept model. Though not the first case in order to create a real need insights and accelerate production. Nothing too futuristic 2017 Kia Telluride is not offered in the form of the concept, which would be less appropriate for a standard Kia SUV model.
2017 Kia Telluride Design and Specs
The vehicle is placed on the underpinnings of the Kia Sorento model. In size, 2017 Telluride is bigger than the Sorento model. It is 70.9 inches high, 79.1 inches wide, 196.9 inches is long. Kia Design Center has designed the interior and exterior of the vehicle. Compared to other models from Kia lineup, 2017 Kia Telluride has a significantly larger front grille, known as the Tiger Nose. A special dose of seriousness and aggressiveness exterior design provide LED headlights and LED indicator lamps.
As for the interior, it is entirely subordinate to the passengers in the second row of seats. The concept is represented by four separate seats without possibility of transport, the third passenger in the second row. Of course, the production model probably would not look so. Second-row seats have footrests, which can be folded when not in use they. There are also sensors, which read vital health information of passengers. The results can be display on the door panels. Under the sunroof there is a LED panel which provide a light show. For the first time Kia used 3D printed components for 2017 Telluride SUV.
In the opinion of those present at the fair in Detroit, Telluride SUV concept has bold front, characteristic of pickup trucks with the US vehicle market. The hybrid drive may not be exactly in line with other characteristics. Nevertheless, this powertrain future has found its place under the hood of the SUV. The drive train consists of 3.6 L V6 engine combined with a 130-hp electric motor. Together provides a total output of 270 hp. This is not the first crossover hybrid company Kia. Something smaller and not so strong is the Kia Niro model which is expected soon on the market.
Not so convincing statement that the 2017 Kia Telluride does not experience mass production, large competition in the SUV market could easily shift. With 3D printing or without, Telluride SUV would certainly be another cost-effective and reliable choice for many families who need a family hauler.
