2017 Range Rover Evoque Facelift
The refreshed version of the Ranger Evoque for the 2017 MY is due to be unveiled during 2016. This popular crossover SUV will once again be available in both three and five-door configurations. Alongside the standard model, expect to see XL and convertible versions. The latter two variants are expected to go on sale somewhat later than the regular model. All of the 2017 Range Rover Evoque models will be available with both FWD and AWD.
2017 Range Rover Evoque Changes
The upcoming model is expected to receive a bevy of external and internal updates. Besides the cosmetic facelift, the model will receive substantial changes when it comes to its engine range. Externally, the facelift will include a redesigned grille and front bumper accompanied by new LED headlights. The visible changes come also with larger air intakes, a restyled rear spoiler as well as new alloy wheels. The new Evoque will feature an enhanced suspension and brand new brakes, while the exterior color range should offer new body paints.
As for the interior, it will receive several new styling cues as well. The 2017 Range Rover Evoque will boast new seats made of luxury materials. The safety features will be updated, while the cabin is expected to get a new 8-inch display. The 2017 Evoque will be offered in SE, HSE Dynamic and Autobiography trim levels. Those who opt for extra fuel efficiency will be able to choose the E-Capability models that come with special blue Evoque nameplates. To name just a few notable features, the upcoming model will be available with lane-keeping assist, autonomous emergency braking, All-Terrain Progress Control (ATPC) as well as the Meridian audio system.
Engines and Specs
As mentioned above, the 2017 Range Rover Evoque is due to receive mechanical changes. Its engine range is expected to adopt new four-cylinder Ingenium units. The new four-cylinder TD4 diesel option will be offered in 150 hp and 180 hp versions. The less powerful option returns 4.2 l/100 km and 109 g/km of CO2 emissions, while the more powerful unit is estimated at 4.8 l/100 km and 125 g/km of CO2 emissions. As for the gasoline engines, there will be the Si4 unit that makes 240 hp, paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission and AWD. Its average fuel consumption is rated at 7.8 l/100km, with CO2 emissions of 181 g/km. The model powered by this engine is able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.6 seconds, with the top speed of 217 km/h.
2017 Range Rover Evoque Price
Although the official pricing policy is still unknown, we expect the 2017 Evoque SUV to stay in the same price range with the current model that starts at £29,000 in the UK.
