2017 Toyota Land Cruiser Prado Facelift
Although the release date of the facelifted Toyota Land Cruiser Prado is still speculated about, some sources suggest that it is most likely to arrive for the 2017 model year. Thanks to a leaked spy shot of the updated model, we now know what it will actually look like. Apart from receiving visual updates, the 2017 Toyota Land Cruiser Prado is due to adopt a new 2.8-liter turbo-diesel engine as well.
2017 Toyota Land Cruiser Prado Design
As far as the new styling cues are concerned, the most notable one comes with an oversized grille that features horizontal strikes stretching between reshaped headlights. In addition to that, expect to see a new bumper, front fender as well as a redesigned hood. At the back, the 2017 Toyota Land Cruiser Prado comes with revised LED tail-lights and an all-new bumper. The updates also include new alloy wheels, new exterior colors and Toyota’s brand new infotainment system equipped with an advanced touch-screen.
It’s interesting to note that Toyota plans to offer a model that features a less aggressive front fascia which comes with a deeper bumper adorned with chrome accents. However, this version probably won’t be available on the US market. Instead, the less rugged Land Cruiser Prado will be aimed at high-volume markets such as the Middle East.
