2017 Toyota Venza Discontinued

Toyota has recently announced its plans to axe the Venza CUV. While production aimed at North America has already ended, the model will be produced for other markets until September 2017. So, the 2017 Toyota Venza will be virtually identical to its predecessor. This mid-size CUV was first revealed in 2009 as a model that blends characteristics of an MPV and an SUV. However, it has become obsolete in this rapidly expanding segment and the company had no choice but to discontinue the model due to its terrible sales figures.

2017 Toyota Venza Features

Expect the 2017 Toyota Venza to carry over unchanged compared to the 2016 model. It will once again be offered in LE, XLE and Limited trim levels. Of course, the model will still offer an impressive list of standard equipment accross the range. For instance, all models come with 19-inch alloy wheels, rearview camera, dual-zone climate control, six speakers, USB port with iPod connectivity and a 3.5-inch LCD display. Apart from the base LE, the rest of the trim levels offer leather upholstery as standard. When it comes to the safety, all Venzas are equipped with Toyota’s comprehensive Star Safety System that includes a large number of safety features.

The 2017 Toyota Venza will be offered with the familiar engine range comprising two gasoline units. There will be a 2.7-liter inline-4 that makes 181 horsepower and 182 pound-feet of torque, matched to a six-speed automatic transmission.
