2019 Audi RS Q3 Release Date

The second generation of the Audi Q3 crossover has been announced to arrive for the 2018 model year. This new generation is expected to be offered with the same model range as the current one. Of course, the best equipped and the sportiest of them all will be the 2019 Audi RS Q3 model.

The upcoming iteration of the Audi Q3 will bring all sorts of significant improvements compared to its predecessor. The new Q3 will come as a bigger and more comfortable vehicle. Besides the standard models, its range will include enhanced versions as well.

2019 Audi RS Q3 Specs and Design

As for the standard 2018 Q3, it will come with a large number of updates and improvements. The 2019 Audi RS Q3 will naturally inherit all those changes expected from the standard version. Compared to the standard model, the RS Q3 will differ visually by adopting a more athletic appearance with new LED light clusters and larger sports wheels. Mechanically, the RS model will come with sports brakes, sports suspension and sports double exhaust. There will also be plenty of the most advanced safety features and driver assist systems. The interior will boast premium quality materials, as you might expect from such a model. Its new cabin will share much of its features with the new Audi TT.

2019 Audi RS Q3

According to the company’s announcements, the 2019 Audi RS Q3 will be powered by a turbocharged gasoline powertrain that makes around 400 horsepower. Apart from having so much horsepower at its disposal, this engine will actually be more efficient than the unit found in the current Audi RS Q3. The upcoming RS Q3 will also be more eco-friendly, with lower CO2 emissions.

Prior to the 2019 Audi RS Q3 making its debut, Audi plans to launch another two interesting variants of the Q3 crossover. Namely, the company will premiere the 2018 Audi SQ3 as well as the 2018 Audi Q3 plug-In Hybrid. The SQ3 will be motivated by a 2.0-liter TDI diesel engine that should generate 240 horsepower. The Plug-In Hybrid version of the new Q3 will get a gas-electric system with the combined output of around 250 horsepower. Unfortunately, the official details concerning the new hybrid system are yet to be released.
